How It All Began
GrowFund US LLC was born from the vision of Al de Palma, an entrepreneur and real estate developer with over a decade of experience in the American market. After completing more than 2,500 tax deed auction transactions over 4 years, Al identified a unique opportunity: combining his expertise in acquiring land at significant discounts with the growing demand for affordable housing in the United States.
What began as a strategy focused on acquiring distressed properties evolved into a vertically integrated ecosystem that controls the entire value chain of real estate development — from land acquisition to modular home manufacturing, construction, and property management.
Recognizing that sophisticated investors seek not only financial returns but also control, transparency, and social impact, Al created the innovative Customizable Fund® structure, allowing investors to specifically choose which projects they want to participate in, rather than the traditional blind pool model.
